About KC Solar Solutions
We light.
Solar for a Brighter Future.
We are a Ugandan solar company on a simple mission: reliable, affordable electricity for every home, shop, school and clinic - whether or not the grid reaches it.
Our story
Born from too many dark evenings
KC Solar Solutions started with a few solar lanterns sold from a small shop in Kampala to neighbours tired of candles and load-shedding. Those lanterns became panels, then batteries and inverters, and soon customers were asking for whole systems - designed, installed and supported by people they could call.
Today our engineers and certified installers design and fit solar systems for homes, shops, farms, schools and clinics across Uganda. We still run the shop, we still pick up the phone, and we still believe every family deserves a bright evening.
Our tagline says it in two words: We light.
Founded
KC Solar Solutions starts as a small shop in Kampala selling solar lanterns and panels to families tired of load-shedding.
Installation team
We train and certify our first installation crews and begin designing complete home systems.
Across Uganda
Deliveries and installations extend to districts across the country, from Arua to Kabale.
Online platform
Our Solar Calculator lets customers design a system online, receive a quotation and track every step of the order.
What we stand for
Values that guide every installation
Light for every home
We believe reliable electricity should not depend on where you live. Solar lets a family in Hoima enjoy the same bright evenings as one in Kampala.
Honest advice
We recommend the system you need, not the biggest one we can sell. Every quotation shows the full bill of materials and nothing is paid online.
Workmanship we stand behind
Certified installers, quality components and a 12-month workmanship warranty on every installation.
Here after the sale
Support by phone, WhatsApp and your online account. We service what we install for the life of the system.
The team
Engineers, installers and people who answer the phone
Our solar engineers size every system from your real appliances, our certified installation crews fit it to Ugandan electrical standards, and our support team keeps in touch before, during and after the job.
